California High School Basketball - Victor Valley can't hold off Barstow

The Barstow Aztecs basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Victor Valley Jackrabbits to 63 in the Aztecs league victory on Monday.

The Aztecs now sport a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silverado for a Desert Sky contest on Friday, February 3. Barstow will battle a Hawks team coming off a 63-52 league loss to Adelanto (Adelanto, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 15-8.

The Jackrabbits (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Granite Hills (Apple Valley, CA). The Cougars come into the Desert Sky contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Granite Hills was nudged by Adelanto (Adelanto, CA), 83-30, in a league contest.
