January 30, 2023: Marshall, WI 53559 The Clinton Cougars (Clinton, WI) basketball knocked off the host Marshall Cardinals (Marshall, WI), 67-59 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cougars (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Turner (Beloit, WI). The Trojans go into the Rock Valley test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Turner notched a victory over Belleville (Belleville, WI), 76-68, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Waterloo for a Capitol - South test on Friday, February 3. Marshall will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 68-48 non-league loss to Poynette (Poynette, WI). The Pirates record now stands at 3-13.
