Illinois High School Basketball - East Moline United overwhelms Dunlap
January 30, 2023: Dunlap, IL 61525 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the East Moline United Panthers (East Moline, IL) and the host Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL), saw East Moline United's basketball squad wallop Dunlap by a count of 81-54.
With the victory, East Moline United upgrades its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Sterling (Sterling, IL) to play the Golden Warriors in a Western Big 6 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Golden Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 19-6. Sterling won 90-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Rochelle (Rochelle, IL)
Next up, the Eagles play the Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) in a Mid-Illini challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Dunlap will attempt to upgrade on its 12-13 season record. The Little Giants come into the challenge with a 5-18 record after their 51-24 non-league win over Geneseo (Geneseo, IL).
