New York High School Basketball - Margaretville Central crushes Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton
January 30, 2023: Margaretville, NY 12455 Margaretville Central Blue Devils (Margaretville, NY) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton Raiders (Gilbertsville, NY), 66-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Margaretville Central upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Downsville Central (Downsville, NY) to play the Eagles in a Section 4 Delaware County - Upper Delaware bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 7-8. Downsville Central lost 69-42 in their recent league bout against South Kortright Central (South Kortright, NY)
Next up, the Raiders play the Roxbury Central Rockets (Roxbury, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 54-46 league loss to Charlotte Valley (Davenport, NY).
