January 30, 2023: Long Prairie, MN 56347 Henning Hornets (Henning, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder (Long Prairie, MN), 80-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Henning upgrades its record to 15-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to Sebeka (Sebeka, MN) to face the Trojans in a A Section 5 game on Saturday, February 4. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 1-13. Sebeka lost 72-38 in their recent non-league game against Underwood (Underwood, MN)
With the defeat, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle moves to 9-7 on the year. The Thunder travel to Browerville (Browerville, MN) to face the Tigers in a A Section 5 game on Thursday, February 2. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 4-1.
