Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA) and the host Loyalton Grizzlies (Loyalton, CA), saw Quincy's basketball squad wallop Loyalton by a tally of 69-43.

With the victory, Quincy improves its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA) to confront the Lions in a Five Star challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 13-10. Redding Christian lost 65-50 in their recent league battle against Portola (Portola, CA)

The Grizzlies (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Westwood (Westwood, CA). The Lumberjacks come into the Pioneer battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, Westwood was routed by Princeton (Princeton, CA), 87-44, in a league battle.
