Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) and the visiting Taconic Braves (Pittsfield, MA), saw Central's basketball squad wallop Taconic by a tally of 86-27.

With the victory, Central improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Longmeadow (Longmeadow, MA) to confront the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
