Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) and the host Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), saw Corvian Community's basketball squad knock off Sugar Creek by a count of 38-19.

With the victory, Corvian Community upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 5-16. Bradford Prep lost 48-38 in their recent league challenge against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a 1A Conference 38 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Sugar Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Stallions come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 58-26 league win over Cabarrus Charter (Concord, NC).
