January 30, 2023: Damascus, MD 20872 In Monday's non-league match, the host Damascus Hornets basketball team scored a decisive 65-30 triumph over the Northwest Jaguars.
In their next game, the Hornets meet the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 3. Damascus will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Screamin' Eagles enter the match with a 13-4 record after their 47-35 non-league loss to Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD).
With the defeat, Northwest moves to 1-9 on the year. The Jaguars host Northwood (Silver Spring, MD) to meet the Gladiators in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 7. The Gladiators enter the match with a record of 2-13.
