January 30, 2023: Bussey, IA 50044 The H-L-V Warriors basketball team (Victor, IA), dropped 44-34 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA)
The Sabers now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Melcher-Dallas for a Bluegrass battle on Tuesday, January 31. Twin Cedars will battle a Saints team coming off a 40-38 non-league loss to Tri-County (Thornburg, IA). The Saints record now stands at 9-7.
The Warriors (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA). The Bears come into the South Iowa Cedar battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, B-G-M prevailed over Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA), 65-19, in a non-league battle.
