Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hazleton Area nips Crestwood
January 30, 2023: Hazleton, PA 18202 Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA), 35-29 in a league bout.
With the win, Hazleton Area upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA) to play the in a bout on Thursday, February 2. The go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Wilkes-Barre lost 39-37 in their recent league bout against Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA)
Next up, the Comets play the Williamsport Millionaires (Williamsport, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Crestwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
