Fans at Monday's league game between the New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) and the host Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT), observed New Milford's ice hockey squad defeat Newtown by a final score of 9-1.

In their next game, the Green Wave battle the SGWL [Suffield/Granby/Windsor Locks] Wildcats (Suffield, CT) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 1. New Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 0-6 record after their 10-0 league loss to Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT).
