The St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Grace Brethren Christian to 53 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smith Jewish Day School for a contest on Wednesday, February 1. St. Anselm's Abbey will battle a Lions team coming off a 65-14 league win over Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.

The (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Crusaders enter the contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Riverdale Baptist nudged King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD), 78-52, in a league contest.
