Florida High School Basketball - Island Coast overwhelms Out-of-Door Academy
January 30, 2023: Cape Coral, FL 33909 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Island Coast Gators (Cape Coral, FL) and the visiting Out-of-Door Academy Thunder (Sarasota, FL), saw Island Coast's basketball squad wallop Out-of-Door Academy by a tally of 50-26.
With the victory, Island Coast improves its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Gators host Oasis (Cape Coral, FL) to play the Sharks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Sharks come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Thunder play the Sarasota Christian Blazers (Sarasota, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Out-of-Door Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Blazers come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 45-42 non-league loss to Community Christian (Bradenton, FL).
