January 30, 2024: La Grange, TX 78945 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the La Grange Leopards (La Grange, TX) and the visiting Austin Achieve Polar Bears (Austin, TX), saw La Grange's basketball squad wallop Austin Achieve by a tally of 67-33.
With the victory, La Grange improves its record to 23-8 on the campaign. The Leopards host Giddings (Giddings, TX) to confront the Buffaloes in a 4A Region III District 22 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 8-18. Giddings lost 76-54 in their recent league challenge against Taylor (Taylor, TX)
Next up, the Polar Bears confront the Smithville Tigers (Smithville, TX) in a 4A Region III District 22 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Austin Achieve will attempt to improve on its 4-18 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 72-42 league loss to Giddings (Giddings, TX).
