Iowa High School Basketball - Gilbert knocked off by Ballard
January 30, 2024: Gilbert, IA 50105 The Ballard Bombers basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Gilbert Tigers to 63 in the Bombers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bombers now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Polk for a Raccoon River contest on Friday, February 2. Ballard will battle a Comets team coming off a 54-38 league loss to Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Comets record now stands at 8-11.
The Tigers (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against A-D-M (Adel, IA). The Tigers enter the Raccoon River contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, A-D-M ran past Carroll (Carroll, IA), 66-59, in a league contest.
