January 30, 2024: Elkhorn, NE Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE) and the visiting Bellevue East Chieftains (Bellevue, NE), saw Elkhorn North's basketball squad wallop Bellevue East by a tally of 81-50.
With the victory, Elkhorn North improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The host Mount Michael Benedictine (Elkhorn, NE) to confront the Knights in a B District 4 challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Mount Michael Benedictine lost 44-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Gross Catholic (Omaha, NE)
Next up, the Chieftains confront the Lincoln High Links (Lincoln, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Friday, February 2. Bellevue East will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Links come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 69-56 league loss to Millard West (Omaha, NE).
