North Carolina High School Basketball - Carmel Christian crushes Greater Cabarrus Stallions

January 30, 2024: Matthews, NC 28105

Carmel Christian Cougars (Matthews, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC), 88-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Carmel Christian upgrades its record to 14-10 on the season. The Cougars travel to Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC) to play the Blues in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Blues go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Asheville School (Independent) lost 84-45 in their recent league bout against Christ School (Arden, NC)

Next up, the Stallions play the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks (Winston-Salem, NC) in a North Carolina Home Education - West bout, on Friday, February 2. Greater Cabarrus Stallions will attempt to upgrade on its 17-6 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 13-14 record after their 65-64 non-league win over South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC).
