Utah High School Basketball - Springville nips Cedar Valley
January 30, 2024: Springville, UT 84663 Springville Red Devils (Springville, UT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT), 66-62 in a league bout.
With the win, Springville upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Timpview (Provo, UT) to play the Thunderbirds in a 5A Region 7 bout on Friday, February 2. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Timpview won 71-50 in their recent league bout against Wasatch (Heber City, UT)
Next up, the Aviators play the Wasatch Wasps (Heber City, UT) in a 5A Region 7 bout, on Friday, February 2. Cedar Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Wasps go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 71-50 league loss to Timpview (Provo, UT).
