The Clover Blue Eagles basketball team (Clover, SC), was nudged 58-51 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC)

The Vikings now possess a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Mill for a AAAAA Region 3 battle on Friday, February 2. Spring Valley will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 53-50 league loss to Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 13-10.

The Blue Eagles (12-10) will now prepare for their battle against Blythewood (Blythewood, SC). The Bengals come into the AAAAA Region 3 battle with a 17-6 record. In their last battle, Blythewood was nudged by Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC), 66-57, in a league battle.
