Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) and the visiting Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC), saw Huss's basketball squad hold off Crest by a count of 62-60.

With the victory, Huss upgrades its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC) to play the Mountaineers in a 3A Big South challenge on Friday, February 2. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Kings Mountain won 72-71 in their recent league challenge against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Chargers play the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) in a 3A Big South challenge, on Friday, February 2. Crest will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Greenwave come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 72-71 league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC).
