January 30, 2024: Lacey, WA 98503 The Pope John Paul II Eagles (Lacey, WA) basketball knocked off the visiting Crosspoint Warriors (Bremerton, WA), 60-49 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Puget Sound Adventist (Kirkland, WA). The Sharks go into the 1B/2B Sea-Tac test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Puget Sound Adventist notched a victory over Quilcene (Quilcene, WA), 67-60, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 1-18 record. They play next when they travel to Evergreen Lutheran for a 1B/2B Sea-Tac test on Saturday, February 3. Crosspoint will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 80-21 league loss to Auburn Adventist (Auburn, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-8.
