January 30, 2024: Needville, TX 77461 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Needville Bluejays (Needville, TX) and the visiting El Campo Ricebirds (El Campo, TX), saw Needville's basketball squad overcome El Campo by a tally of 42-29.
With the victory, Needville improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Sealy (Sealy, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 4A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-15. Sealy lost 43-38 in their recent league challenge against Navasota (Navasota, TX)
Next up, the Ricebirds confront the Royal Falcons (Brookshire, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Friday, February 2. El Campo will attempt to improve on its 9-17 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 76-58 league win over Wharton (Wharton, TX).
