Louisiana High School Basketball - Leesville tops Eunice
January 30, 2024: Leesville, LA 71446 Leesville Wampus Cats (Leesville, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Eunice Bobcats (Eunice, LA), 55-45 in a league bout.
With the victory, Leesville upgrades its record to 13-11 on the campaign. The Wampus Cats host Rayne (Rayne, LA) to play the Wolves in a 4A District 3 bout on Friday, February 2. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 10-17. Rayne lost 58-54 in their recent league bout against Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA)
Next up, the Bobcats play the DeRidder Dragons (DeRidder, LA) in a 4A District 3 bout, on Friday, February 2. Eunice will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 56-55 non-league loss to Pitkin (Pitkin, LA).
