Ohio High School Basketball - Firelands topped by Norwalk
January 30, 2024: Oberlin, OH 44074 The Norwalk Truckers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Firelands Falcons to 43 in the Truckers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Truckers now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clyde for a Sandusky Bay - Lake contest on Friday, February 2. Norwalk will battle a Fliers team coming off a 93-40 non-league win over Edison (Milan, OH). The Fliers record now stands at 3-13.
The Falcons (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wellington (Wellington, OH). The Dukes come into the Lorain County 8 contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Wellington was defeated by Western Reserve (Collins, OH), 50-47, in a non-league contest.
