January 30, 2024: Rutland, VT 05701 The Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave basketball team (Rutland, VT), was overwhelmed 84-31 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT)
The Hurricanes now possess a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Windsor for a Southern Vermont - B battle on Friday, February 2. Hartford will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 73-65 non-league loss to Springfield (Springfield, VT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-9.
The Green Wave (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Fair Haven (Fair Haven, VT). The Slaters come into the Southern Vermont - B battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Fair Haven was overwhelmed by Rutland (Rutland, VT), 55-50, in a non-league battle.
