Michigan High School Basketball - Okemos tops Haslett
January 30, 2024: Okemos, MI 48864 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Okemos Wolves (Okemos, MI) and the visiting Haslett Vikings (Haslett, MI), saw Okemos's basketball squad knock off Haslett by a count of 64-49.
With the victory, Okemos upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Everett (Lansing, MI) to play the Vikings in a Capital Area - Blue challenge on Friday, February 2. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Everett lost 77-70 in their recent league challenge against Waverly (Lansing, MI)
Next up, the Vikings play the Fowlerville Gladiators (Fowlerville, MI) in a Capital Area - Red challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Haslett will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 46-37 non-league loss to Portland (Portland, MI).
