Kentucky High School Basketball - Holy Cross overwhelms Iroquois
January 30, 2024: Louisville, KY 40215 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Holy Cross Cougars (Louisville, KY) and the host Iroquois Raiders (Louisville, KY), saw Holy Cross's basketball squad wallop Iroquois by a tally of 86-63.
With the victory, Holy Cross improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY) to play the Panthers in a District 21 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 12-10. Pleasure Ridge Park lost 73-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Male (Louisville, KY)
Next up, the Raiders play the Doss Dragons (Louisville, KY) in a District 22 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Iroquois will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 62-51 non-league loss to Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY).
