New Mexico High School Basketball - Santa Fe Indian nips Hot Springs
January 30, 2024: Santa Fe, NM 87505 Santa Fe Indian Braves (Santa Fe, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM), 61-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Santa Fe Indian upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Braves travel to West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM) to play the Dons in a 3A District 2 bout on Thursday, February 1. The Dons go into the bout with a record of 13-5. West Las Vegas lost 76-50 in their recent league bout against Robertson (Las Vegas, NM)
Next up, the Tigers play the New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Hot Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 41-38 non-league win over Goddard (Roswell, NM).
