New Hampshire High School Basketball - Kearsarge over Winnisquam
January 30, 2024: Tilton, NH 03276 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Kearsarge Cougars (North Sutton, NH) and the host Winnisquam Bears (Tilton, NH), saw Kearsarge's basketball squad overcome Winnisquam by a tally of 44-33.
With the victory, Kearsarge improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Gilford (Gilford, NH) to play the Golden Eagles in a Division III challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. Gilford won 81-46 in their recent league challenge against Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH)
Next up, the Bears play the White Mountains Spartans (Whitefield, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Winnisquam will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 60-51 non-league loss to Groveton (Groveton, NH).
