New Mexico High School Basketball - Loving overwhelms Tatum
January 30, 2024: Loving, NM 88256 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Loving Falcons (Loving, NM) and the visiting Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM), saw Loving's basketball squad wallop Tatum by a tally of 70-42.
With the victory, Loving improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Eunice (Eunice, NM) to confront the Cardinals in a 2A District 4 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 14-5. Eunice won 70-49 in their recent league challenge against Tatum (Tatum, NM)
Next up, the Coyotes confront the Hagerman Bobcats (Hagerman, NM) in a 2A District 4 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Tatum will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 65-41 league loss to Jal (Jal, NM).
