Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE), 49-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Malcolm upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Clippers host Yutan (Yutan, NE) to play the Chieftains in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Yutan lost 50-32 in their recent non-league bout against Syracuse (Syracuse, NE)

Next up, the Shamrocks play the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Scotus will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 38-35 non-league win over Waverly (Waverly, NE).
