Louisiana High School Basketball - Maurepas can't hold off Mt. Hermon
January 30, 2024: Mt. Hermon, LA 70450 The Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Maurepas Wolves to 62 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pearl River for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Mt. Hermon will battle a Rebels team coming off a 78-63 non-league loss to King Charter (New Orleans, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 12-14.
The Wolves (5-19) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Riverside Academy nudged Varnado (Angie, LA), 70-32, in a league contest.
