Vermont High School Basketball - Proctor topped by Otter Valley
January 30, 2024: Brandon, VT 05733 The Otter Valley Otters basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Proctor Phantoms to 35 in the Otters non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Otters now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellows Falls for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Otter Valley will battle a Terriers team coming off a 62-50 non-league loss to Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT). The Terriers record now stands at 6-9.
The Phantoms (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Long Trail (Dorset, VT). The come into the Southern Vermont - D contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Long Trail was defeated by Mill River (North Clarendon, VT), 71-66, in a non-league contest.
