In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Piedmont Community Charter Patriots basketball team scored a good 72-55 triumph over the Valor Preparatory Academy Owls .

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a 1A Metro 8 match, on Friday, February 2. Piedmont Community Charter will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Stallions enter the match with a 12-12 record after their 84-61 non-league win over Grace Academy (Matthews, NC).
