Michigan High School Basketball - Roeper edges Southfield Christian
January 30, 2024: Birmingham, MI 48009 The Roeper Roughriders (Birmingham, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Southfield Christian Eagles (Southfield, MI), 50-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Roughriders (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Parkway Christian was tipped by Lutheran (Westland, MI), 49-48, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Plymouth Christian Academy for a Michigan Independent - Blue test on Friday, February 2. Southfield Christian will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 51-42 league loss to Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 5-10.
