New Jersey High School Basketball - Bard Early College tops Beloved Community Charter
January 30, 2024: Newark, NJ 07103 Bard Early College Raptors (Newark, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Beloved Community Charter Owls (Jersey City, NJ), 48-29 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bard Early College upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Raptors travel to Shabazz (Newark, NJ) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 7-12. Shabazz won 51-45 in their recent non-league bout against Bard (New York, NY)
Next up, the Owls play the Memorial Tigers (West New York, NJ) in a Hudson County - National bout, on Thursday, February 1. Beloved Community Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 32-10 non-league loss to Fort Lee (Fort Lee, NJ).
