New Mexico High School Basketball - Kirtland Central tops Bloomfield
January 30, 2024: Bloomfield, NM 87413 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) and the host Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM), saw Kirtland Central's basketball squad knock off Bloomfield by a count of 56-38.
With the victory, Kirtland Central upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Broncos host Gallup (Gallup, NM) to play the Bengals in a 4A District 1 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Bengals come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Gallup won 61-31 in their recent league challenge against Aztec (Aztec, NM)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM) in a 4A District 1 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Bloomfield will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 60-36 league loss to Miyamura (Gallup, NM).
