Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Peter overwhelms Blue Earth
January 30, 2024: Blue Earth, MN 56013 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) and the host Blue Earth Buccaneers (Blue Earth, MN), saw St. Peter's basketball squad wallop Blue Earth by a tally of 65-33.
With the victory, St. Peter improves its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Saints host Marshall (Marshall, MN) to play the Tigers in a AAA Section 2 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. Marshall lost 44-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD)
Next up, the Buccaneers play the Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN) in a AA Section 2 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Blue Earth will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 5-15 record after their 42-30 league loss to Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN).
