Citrus Hill Hawks (Perris, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA), 43-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Citrus Hill upgrades its record to 5-14 on the season. The Hawks host San Jacinto (San Jacinto, CA) to clash with the Tigers in a Mountain Pass bout on Thursday, February 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 19-8. San Jacinto won 61-9 in their recent league bout against Liberty (Winchester, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Perris Panthers (Perris, CA) in a Mountain Pass bout, on Thursday, February 1. West Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 63-13 league loss to Tahquitz (Hemet, CA).
