Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME), 51-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cony upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Lawrence (Fairfield, ME) to play the Bulldogs in a A North bout on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 14-1. Lawrence won 71-32 in their recent league test against Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME)

The Broncos now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Messalonskee for a A North test on Thursday, February 1. Hampden will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 59-30 league loss to Gardiner (Gardiner, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 2-14.
