Michigan High School Basketball - Iron Mountain crushes North Central
January 30, 2024: Powers, MI 49874 Iron Mountain Mountaineers (Iron Mountain, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Central Jets (Powers, MI), 57-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Iron Mountain upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Manistique (Manistique, MI) to play the Emeralds in a Mid-Peninsula bout on Thursday, February 1. The Emeralds go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Manistique won 54-43 in their recent league bout against Gwinn (Gwinn, MI)
Next up, the Jets play the Norway Knights (Norway, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. North Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 44-31 non-league loss to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI).
