Minnesota High School Basketball - Wabasha-Kellogg overwhelmed by Kingsland
January 30, 2024: Spring Valley, MN 55975 The Kingsland Knights basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons to 29 in the Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyle/Pacelli for a A Section 1 contest on Thursday, February 1. Kingsland will battle a Athletics team coming off a 54-24 league loss to Lanesboro (Lanesboro, MN). The Athletics record now stands at 1-18.
The Falcons (2-18) will now prepare for their contest against Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN). The Bulldogs come into the AA Section 1 contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, Plainview-Elgin-Millville triumphed over Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN), 64-42, in a non-league contest.
