The Maxwell Wildcats basketball team (Maxwell, NE), was toppled 54-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE)

The Plainsmen now possess a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Akron for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 1. Perkins County will confront a Rams team coming off a 37-27 non-league loss to Fleming (Fleming, CO). The Rams record now stands at 7-6.

The Wildcats (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Wallace (Wallace, NE). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 7-12 record. In their last battle, Wallace was toppled by Brady (Brady, NE), 47-40, in a non-league battle.
