January 30, 2024: Osceola, WI 54020 The Osceola Chieftains (Osceola, WI) basketball crushed the visiting Spring Valley Cardinals (Spring Valley, WI), 70-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Chieftains (2-17) will now prepare for their test against Amery (Amery, WI). The Warriors go into the Middle Border test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Amery was trounced by Athens (Athens, WI), 59-55, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Mondovi for a Dunn-St. Croix test on Thursday, February 1. Spring Valley will encounter a Buffaloes squad coming off a 56-33 non-league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, WI). The Buffaloes record now stands at 12-8.
