The Pinewood Prep Panthers basketball team scored 41 points and held the host St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers to 27 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 3-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Porter-Gaud for a SCISA AAAA Region III contest on Friday, February 2. Pinewood Prep will meet a Cyclones team coming off a 56-24 non-league win over Wilson Hall (Sumter, SC). The Cyclones record now stands at 14-8.
The Cavaliers (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Dorchester Academy (St. George, SC). The Raiders enter the SCISA AA Region I contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Dorchester Academy was outscored by Patrick Henry Academy (Estill, SC), 59-42, in a non-league contest.
