California High School Basketball - Walnut tops South Hills
January 30, 2024: Walnut, CA 91789 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA) and the visiting South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA), saw Walnut's basketball squad knock off South Hills by a tally of 42-22.
With the victory, Walnut improves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA) to play the Conquerors in a challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Conquerors come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Los Altos won 35-34 in their recent league challenge against Diamond Bar (Diamond Bar, CA)
Next up, the Huskies play the Diamond Bar Brahmas (Diamond Bar, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 1. South Hills will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Brahmas come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 35-34 league loss to Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA).
