January 30, 2024: Palmyra, VA 22963 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) and the host Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA), saw Albemarle's basketball squad wallop Fluvanna County by a tally of 60-35.
With the victory, Albemarle improves its record to 15-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Monticello (Charlottesville, VA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Monticello lost 36-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)
Next up, the Flying Flucos confront the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Fluvanna County will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 61-60 non-league loss to Orange County (Orange, VA).
