R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), 46-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, R.J. Reynolds upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Demons host Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Glenn lost 58-48 in their recent non-league bout against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC)

Next up, the Mustangs play the East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Parkland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 69-68 non-league loss to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC).
