California High School Soccer - University Prep knocks off Anderson
January 30, 2024: Anderson, CA 96007 The University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) soccer bounced the host Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA), 4-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
With the victory, University Prep moves its record to 16-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Yreka (Yreka, CA) to confront the Miners in a Northern Athletic bout on Thursday, February 1. The Miners enter the bout with a record of 8-7. Yreka won 3-0 in their recent league bout against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA)
In their next game, the Cubs confront the Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Anderson will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 12-3 record after their 2-1 league win over Corning (Corning, CA).
